When are we going to be able to name our Echo devices with a custom word?
I have 3 of them. One is called Echo, one is Alexa, and the other is Amazon. I am not a fan of those names. I would love to be able to name my own device.

Unfortunately, here at VoiceBrew we don’t have any visibility into Amazon’s projected roadmap and updates for the Echo service.
If you dislike those names you are currently using for your devices, there are two other options.

If you dislike those names you are currently using for your devices, there are two other options.
- You can name one (or all) of your devices “Computer” by following the instructions here.
- You can name one (or all) of your devices “Samuel”, after following the instructions here.
Hopefully this is something Amazon is planning to include in the future!
