I have two wall-mounted switches that control the ignition and fan in our gas fireplace. They are 12-volt systems. Is there an Alexa-compatible replacement for these? I want to be able to turn each of these functions on and off via voice.
Does this seem possible?

This would be up to an electrician to determine, but if it works the same as any other light switch, then yes, it should work. I would recommend looking at some Alexa compatible switches like this, but please make sure you take the necessary precautions or engage with a professional before attempting any installation!
Once the switch has been installed, you can install the app from the manufacturer, enable the Amazon Alexa Skill from the manufacturer, give the Skill the necessary permissions, add it in your Alexa app, and turn it on or off using your voice!
