I have all 3 sizes of Show, and I was wondering how to get them to play video (specifically news/CNN/MSNBC/HLN maybe?).
Is there a skill or skills I need to enable? Any advice is welcomed.

Thanks for your question! This is a good one because it is not very obvious at all.
Not all news stations have video available. I tried asking about CNN and ABC, but it wasn’t until I said “What’s the latest news from Reuters?” that I actually saw video. The Reuters video I saw worked perfectly and was nearly 10 minutes long.
I would recommend asking for specific news platforms you like to see which ones have videos.
