I would like to link Alexa to my Vizio TV and Roku and use it for an external speaker.
How do I do that?

While Daniel is right that Roku does not have that integration, you may be able to connect your Echo to your TV via Bluetooth. While different TVs connect to bluetooth speakers in different ways, the post below may help you accomplish what you’re looking to do!

This is a good question!
Unfortunately, using Alexa as an external speaker is only supported when using Amazon Fire products, not using a Roku. To set that up, you will need an Amazon Fire Stick or Fire Cube. Once you have that, you can follow the directions from Amazon here.
However, there are some things you can do to control your Roku using Alexa – just not as a speaker for your television. You can read more about that on Roku’s blog.
