How do I turn down the bass on my Echo speakers? Sometimes I can hardly understand Alexa due to there being so much bass.

To lower the bass, you can say “Alexa, decrease the bass.”
Here are some additional equalizer control Alexa commands: “Alexa, set treble to maximum,” “Alexa, decrease the mid-range,” “Alexa, set the treble to minus three,” “Alexa, reset equalizer” (to go back to the default).
Note that you can adjust each setting on a scale from -6 dB to 6 dB.
When you adjust sound settings, the changes will apply across all playback — music, podcasts, audiobooks.
