Excellent question! I wasn’t sure how it worked, so I changed my device to be Italian. It took a few minutes to complete the change, but all the messaging on the screen of my device appeared in Italian.
Here’s how I did it. First, open your Alexa app, select “Devices” at the bottom, then tap “Echo and Alexa”, select your Echo Show from the list, then scroll down to Language and select it.
There are a few different options for Spanish based on some different countries (Spain, Mexico, United States), plus an option that allows you to use both Spanish and English at the same time.
If the display still isn’t showing the language you want, I’d try switching to English then switching back to see if it helps.

Thank you! So here is the trick– I had it set for English/Spanish so you could speak to it in either language, as per your suggestion, I switched language to SPANISH- English and the screen is in Spanish now. Thanks!
