I have 3 Echo devices, and sometimes when I ask Alexa for something on my kitchen Echo, the Echo in the hallway picks up my Alexa command and responds instead. What can I do to be sure that the intended Echo picks up my question and gives me a response?

There’s an easy fix for this! Change Alexa’s wake word on 2 of your Echo devices so all 3 devices listen for and respond to a different “wake word.”
Just say “Alexa, change the wake word” to each device for which you want to change the wake word. You can choose from Echo, Computer and Amazon. If you left your kitchen Echo wake word as “Alexa” and changed your hallway Echo wake word to “Echo” and your third Echo wake word to “Computer” then you’d easily avoid having your hallway Echo pick up Alexa commands intended for your kitchen Echo.
