- Unplug your Echo and plug it back in – sometimes a simple re-start works miracles!
- Try turning off the wifi on your laptop, phone, tablet and seeing if Alexa starts working again
- Make sure Alexa is still connected to wifi network properly – Go into the Alexa app > Tap the hamburger icon in the top left corner > Tap Settings > Tap Device Settings > Tap the Echo smart speaker device that’s giving you problems > Check if the device is connected to the internet (if it says “Device offline” at the top, that means it’s not connected) > If your Echo is offline, make sure it’s in range of your wifi router and try reconnecting to wifi by tapping “Change” to the right of “Wifi Network”
