Is it possible to connect to my mom’s Echo Show in North Carolina from Florida?

Yes, you can definitely do that!
You can easily “drop in” on your mom’s Echo in North Carolina from your Echo in Florida as long as you have both given each other drop in privileges. To do that, follow these steps:
You can easily “drop in” on your mom’s Echo in North Carolina from your Echo in Florida as long as you have both given each other drop in privileges. To do that, follow these steps:
- Open the Alexa app
- Navigate to the “Communicate” tab from the bottom navigation bar
- Tap the person icon in the upper right corner
- Search for “Mom” (or however your mom is stored in your contacts)
- Under Permissions, toggle on “Allow Drop In”
Make sure your mom also does this to give you drop in privileges.
Then, you can drop in by saying “Alexa, drop in on Mom (or however your mom is stored in your contacts)” If you both have Echo Show smart displays, it’ll be a video drop in, which is really nice
