Also, there have been times when music is playing for an hour or so and one Dot in the group just quits.
Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
- Are all the speakers in the same group?
- Open the Alexa app .
- Open Devices .
- Select , and then select Combine Speakers.
- Select Multi-room music.
If you want to edit the group, scroll down to Speaker Groups, and select Everywhere.
- Are all the Echo units on the same WiFi network? Often routers have 2.4 GHz networks and 5 GHz networks. Make sure all Echo units are on the 2.4 GHz network. (You may have to do some setup on each unit.)
- If that still doesn’t work, I would suggest Factory Resetting every device, and going through the setup process again, ensuring each device is on the 2.4 GHz network.
