Hi,
I want to use the Alexa app, but it seems to want me to totally star over, rather just “attaching” to my existing Alexa devices.

Hi Dale,
On your new iPad, make sure you log in to the Amazon Alexa app using the same log-in you used on your older device.
If you’re using a different Amazon account – even if it’s a member of the same household – you won’t see your old settings.
