Hi,
I’m considering getting the Guard+ but I do have a question. Do you turn Guard+ off the same way as regular Guard? Can anyone entering my home say, “Alexa, I’m home” or “Alexa, turn off guard”?

I have her set now to recognize my voice but I’m wondering if anyone can talk to her and she will respond the same as to me?

Thanks for the question!
Yes, someone else could talk to Alexa and turn off the system. However, according to the Alexa Guard Plus information page, it can be set to require a Voice Code to turn off the system. “If you’ve opted into activity sound detection, you will experience a brief entry delay during which you can provide your voice code to set Guard to Home mode.”
I would definitely read that Alexa Guard information page and watch the video to understand more about what the system can do and what it cannot.
