Did your Echo always give this answer or is this a recent development?
I have a couple of suggestions.
First, unplug this Echo, give it a minute, then plug it back in. This may help clear things up.
If that didn’t work, I would try deleting the light from your Alexa app, and adding it again.
If that still doesn’t work, I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the light, and get in contact with their customer service team. Explain your situation and ask what troubleshooting steps they recommend.
