Two of my Echo Dots are displaying circling light blue lights and have been for a couple of weeks.
I have unplugged and plugged them back in, but that did not fix the problem.
What should I do to fix them?
This is a tough one, because it could be a few things.
First, let’s make sure that these two Echo Dots are online. Open your Alexa app, go to “Devices”, and ensure that both Dots show as “online”. If the Echos are not listed as “online” then you might try resetting your WiFi router and see if that helps the Echos to reestablish the connection. You can reset your router by pulling out the power cord for about a minute, then plugged it back in.
If that doesn’t work and the devices still show as offline, you can try a hard reset (wiping it to be the way it came from the factory). To do that, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the Microphone off and Volume down buttons.
- Wait until the light ring turns orange (about 20 seconds).
- Then, go through the setup process.
