I do have very good internet, and I have tried another device listening to BBC Radio and not once has it dropped the signal.
Thanks for your question. Does this happen with everything you listen to on your Echo Show, or just BBC Radio?
Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
- The issue could be Wi-Fi related. Try unplugging your Amazon Echo from the wall and rebooting your router. Wait 20 seconds and plug both devices back into the wall.
- Amazon recommends only using the 2.4 Ghz channel on your WiFi, so ensure your Echo Show is not on your 5Ghz WiFi network. You can change that on the Echo Show by going into the WiFi Settings on the device.
- Amazon suggests keeping your smart speaker away from metal objects, microwaves, baby monitors and anything else that could cause interference with your Wi-Fi connection.
Hope that helps you narrow down the issue a bit! If you continue to have issues, I would try Amazon’s Support to see if they can help you further.
