I want to be able to go on vacation and have Alexa turn my “smart” lights on an off at certain times of the day.
Is this possible?

I’m Daniel, Community Manager here at Voicebrew. Yes, it’s possible – and Katherine has made some great guides to help you set up exactly what you’re asking for using Routines in the Alexa app!
First, make sure you’ve downloaded and installed the Alexa app, then follow the links below.
To make it look like you’re home when you’re on vacation, you can create a simple recurring Alexa routine that turns the lights on and off and plays music or news.
Alternatively, if you want to be fancy, you set up different routines for different days of the week so the routines look less automated to onlookers.
That should get you on your way to being comfortable using Routines!
