Two Ways Alexa Can Help You Stay On Top of the Market:
#1. Get market updates in a flash
You may have noticed that I love Alexa flash briefings — and for good reason! They give small, bite-sized chunks of news in an easy-to-digest way. To keep up on the markets, we recommend adding the CNBC flash briefing to your personal flash briefing list (for those with an Echo Show, it will also include video!). And don’t miss Bloomberg Market Minute.
To listen for the first time, just say “Alexa, enable Bloomberg” and then ask to hear Bloomberg Market Minute (in the future, you can just say “Alexa, open Bloomberg.”).
Pro Tip: History and trivia buffs will love Market Moment, a three-minute flash briefing loaded with famous moments in stock market history.
#2. Check stock prices without lifting a finger
Just say “Alexa, what’s Coca-Cola’s stock price?” (Insert name of any public company!) Alexa can tell you other security prices too. Try “Alexa, what’s the price of Bitcoin?” ($10,843 as of this writing). If you have an Echo Show, you’ll see a nice chart showing the security’s price over the past 24 hours.
