Did You Know You Can Snooze Your Alexa Alarm?
Just say “Alexa, snooze!”
When your Alexa alarm rings, say “Alexa, snooze!” to catch 9 more minutes of zzz’s. If you’d like to rest for just 5 more minutes, say “Alexa, snooze for 5 minutes,” and she’ll wake you up when you want!
Ever wonder why snooze defaults to 9 minutes?
Before digital took over, alarm clocks had gears, and the teeth of the snooze gear had to connect with one of the existing gears in the clock — which meant snooze could be either 9 minutes and a few seconds or a little more than 10 minutes long. Clock engineers chose the 9 minutes option, and it’s still the snooze convention today!
Is it really better to use Alexa as your alarm clock? Yes!
