Just pair your Echo Auto with your Alexa app!

You’ll be happy that you did! High tech cars are great, but you can’t exactly upgrade your car every year to get the latest tech.

But what you can do is combine your Echo Auto with your smartphone to give you a smart screen and hands-free access to maps, playlists, calling and other in-car features. I love using Alexa in the car, and I love this new feature!

It’s *so* easy to set up your new car smart screen

If you have an Echo Auto and open the Alexa app near it, Alexa will automatically walk you through the setup.

She’ll ask you to add in your home and work locations (so you can easily say, “Alexa, give me directions to home”).

And you’ll get a simplified home screen with icons for home, playing music and other media, getting directions, and calling or dropping in on your Echos.

Pro Tip

After you set it up, your app will send you a notification encouraging you to open the app whenever you’re near your Echo Auto.
