Just say, “Hey Google, make a reservation at Spuntino’s on Saturday”

Now that people are eating out more, it’s getting harder and harder to get a reservation. Fortunately, Google Assistant on your Nest smart display makes it easier than ever to make one!

Just say, “Hey Google, make a reservation at Spuntino’s on Saturday.” (Insert the restaurant of your choice!) Your Nest display will show you info about the restaurant, including location, phone number, and hours. 

Hit the button that says “Book a Table,” and Assistant will show you the available times at the restaurant for your chosen date (it’s powered by OpenTable). Pick the one you want, then confirm.

Pro Tip #1: If you need to make changes or cancel your reservation, you can find all of your reservations in the Assistant app by tapping the circle with your photo or initial in the top right then Reservations. 

Pro Tip #2: Assistant will also automatically send it to your calendar, so you won’t forget it.
