Just say “Hey Google, how do I remove a splinter?”
Summer tends to be the season for medical mishaps — and since it’s almost summer, it’s time to get prepared!
Whether you’re dealing with (your own or a loved one’s) twisted ankle or just need help getting out a splinter, your Google Assistant can come to the rescue!
For instance, just ask:
- “Hey Google, what do I do for a bee sting?”
- “Hey Google, how can you tell if an ankle is sprained?”
- “Hey Google, how to I treat a sunburn?”
Assistant will tell you exactly what to do and where it’s sourcing the advice from — it comes from well-respected sites like the Mayo Clinic, Center for Disease Control among others, so you know you can trust it.
When I asked Google what to do for a bee sting, the advice from the American Academy of Dermatology told me to stay calm, remove the stinger, wash the sting with soap and water, and use an ice pack and over-the-counter pain relievers to manage pain. Thank you Assistant!
