Set up multi-room music and play your favorite tunes.
There are lots of times where you want play the same music across multiple rooms in your home—like when you’re spring cleaning from room to room, or hosting a party… or just because you want great music playing all over!
Fortunately, if you have more than one Google Nest speaker or display, you can easily do it!
- In the Google Home app, tap the + in the top left corner
- Tap “Create Speaker Group”
- Choose which Nest Displays or Nest Hubs you want to include, then tap “Next”
- Give your group a name (like House Speakers), then Save
Then, if you want to play music, you can say something like “Hey Google, play Party playlist from Spotify on House Speakers,” and the music will play on all of your speakers.
Pro Tip: If you say “Hey Google, stop” on one speaker, it’ll stop the music everywhere.
