Google Assistant can pull up whatever photos you want to see!
You can ask Google to see almost any of your photos in the Assistant app or on your Nest smart display…
- “Hey Google, show me my photos skiing” or any activity (I really missed skiing this year, so this is what I’m currently looking at!)
- “Hey Google, show me my photos from Hawaii” or any place
- “Hey Google, show me my photos taken at the beach”
- “Hey Google, show me my photos from February 2014” (I sometimes ask for photos taken on this day a year ago, 2 years ago, 5 years ago, etc.)
Want to get this up and running for yourself? It’s a lot easier than you might think 🙂
If you already use Google Photos, the above commands will probably just work!
(If they don’t, open the Assistant app > tap the circle in the upper right with your image or initial > scroll down to “Videos & Photos” > scroll down to make sure “Google Photos” is toggled to the on position.)
If you don’t already have the Google Photos app on your smartphone, download it here! Follow the prompts to give the app access to your phone’s Photos library and give it some time to upload all your photos. Then you should be good to go!
Don’t have Google Assistant yet but want to use this cool functionality? You can download the Assistant app for freeand check out Google’s Nest smart displays. I have the Nest Hub and love it!
