Your Assistant can bring the dance party to you

There are so many amazing things you can do with Google Assistant, but one of my favorites is still be the simplest of them all: playing my favorite music on my Nest speakers and displays just by asking for it. 

I’ve been a Spotify user for a while — and Spotify is where I keep all of the lovingly curated playlists that I’ve built over the years.

Fortunately, it’s super easy to link up your Spotify account to your Google Nest speakers and displays.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Open the Google Home app
2. Tap the circle with your image or initial at the top right
3. Tap “Assistant Settings”
4. Tap “Music” 
5. Tap “Spotify”
6. Follow the prompts to link your account
