“Hey Google, what’s a healthy snack?”
Eating yummy food has been one thing we haven’t had to give up during the past year of Covid, so we’ve all been (over)indulging — or at least eating all kinds of snacks at home we maybe didn’t have as much in the past. (Or at least I have!)
If you’re not sure whether your go-to meals and snacks are as healthy (or as unhealthy!) as you think they are, checking with Google Assistant is a super easy way to find out.
Assistant is also a helpful source for new snack recommendations in case you need to find some replacements 🙂
Just ask “Hey Google…”
- “How many calories are in a date (or any food)?” (It’s actually a lot more than I realized, and I’ve been eating A LOT of dates!! Oops!)
- “What’s a healthy snack?”
- “What are some high fiber foods?”
- “How much vitamin C is in an orange?”
Pro Tip: If you ask Google Assistant on a Nest smart display, you’ll get all kinds of fun food images to go along with your questions 🙂
