Alexa’s putting out the bat signal
Just in time for the holiday gatherings! There’s no need to talk politics or current events; instead, get lost in a mystery that Batman fans (or mystery fans!) can enjoy.
It’s a well known part of Bruce Wayne’s backstory that his parents, industrialists Thomas and Martha Wayne were brutally killed in front of him. The gunman was never found, and that tragedy is what led him into crime fighting as his alter ego Batman.
But what if you could help find the gunman, and solve the mystery?
In The Wayne Investigation, Alexa is your guide as you play detective, and explore the streets of Gotham as you chase clues to solve the crime.
Alexa prompts you to make decisions that move the action along, such as which clue you collect from the crime scene, and where you want to go to continue the investigation. Some of the options are dead ends; in that case, Alexa will give you the chance to try the other option.
What sets this apart is the quality. The dramatic music and sound effects are straight out of an old-time radio serial, setting a spooky mood. Fans of the comics, TV show and the movies will get a kick out of it.
To open, say “Alexa, open the Wayne Investigation.” The story will move along, and Alexa will pop in every so often, giving you a choice of what to do next. Select an option to move the story along.
While you’re playing, keep these three commands close
- “Repeat options” to hear the choices again
- “Go back” to hear a prior scene
- “Skip” to move the story along.
Pro Tip: It’s a murder investigation, so not suitable for younger kids. If they’re too young to see the Batman movies, play this one after they’ve gone to bed.
