You’ll get a much more pleasant wakeup call 🙂
I prefer a gentler wakeup call rather than a blaring alarm.
Which is why I love the Ascending Alarm feature from Alexa. It starts your chosen ring off at a lower volume, then gradually increases to full volume so you can wake up slowly.
Here’s how to set it up (takes 30 seconds):
- Tap More on the bottom navigation bar and select Alarms & Timers.
- Tap Settings at the bottom, then select the device you want to set up with Ascending Alarm.
- Use the sound bar to adjust the final volume setting.
- Tap the toggle button next to Ascending Alarm (blue means it’s active).
Pro Tip: Alexa has more than 20 different alarm sounds. Tap the one enabled next to Sound and you can scroll through and listen to them all. I personally like Orcas as an ascending alarm — it’s a peaceful, pretty way to start the day 🙂
