That means you can give Alexa multiple commands at once!

Here are a few examples of how I use this handy feature…

• “Alexa, set a timer for 20 minutes and play my cooking playlist”
• “Alexa, turn off the living room lights and turn on the Fire TV”
• “Alexa, turn on the Christmas tree and turn on the twinkly lights”

Once in a while, she does need you to repeat one of the commands, but I generally find she’s able to complete both commands 9 times out of 10.

Pro Tip

 You can also enable Follow Up mode, which prompts Alexa to listen after your requests to see if you have a follow-up request. But we prefer just putting our Alexa requests in the same Alexa command.
