Say, “Alexa, find a drama series.” She’ll pull up ideas on your Echo Show screen that you can scroll through—typically up to 40 of them. 

Tap on the show for more info, and when you find what you like, just say, “Alexa, play Yellowstone“ and she’ll start rolling! 

And it’s not just drama. You can look for historic drama, spy series, true crime series—you name it. 

When I asked for comedy, she gave me some things I know and love, like Schitt’s Creek and Young Sheldon, but also ones I hadn’t, like Australia’s Kath and Kim and BBC’s The Kennedys.

Pro Tip: She pulls from Amazon Prime along with a slew of other sources. For shows on paid streaming services such as Netflix, you’ll need to sign in with your account to watch, and some shows ask you to rent or purchase from Amazon Video.
