Try this tip so you don’t forget your toothbrush!
I love to travel, but I am not a fan of packing. (Is anybody?!) I start thinking about it weeks in advance but still always end up forgetting something.
For my last trip, I used Alexa’s List feature — and it made a huge difference. Now, I start a packing list early and add to it as things come to mind, keeping it all in one place.
Whether you’re going to see family for the holidays or headed off on vacation this winter, try this out and let me know what you think! Here’s how.
Say, “Alexa, create a packing list.” She’ll prompt you for what you’d like to add, and keep going until you say “nothing” as what you want to add. Then you can add other things as you think of it, by saying, “Alexa, add thermal socks to packing list.”
When you’re ready to pack, pull out the Alexa app to access your list. Once you’ve packed an item, check it off.
Pro Tip: Don’t forget to check the weather to make sure you’re bringing the right things. A week out from your trip, say, “Alexa, what’s the weather in Steamboat Springs [or whatever your destination] this week?” She’ll give you the conditions for the next seven days including temperature and precipitation.
