Just say, “Alexa, play the Yankees game”

I’ve been using Fire TV for a while to navigate to my shows on streaming services like Netflix or Prime—or even my favorite TV stations. 

What’s really cool is that now, you just have to ask Alexa on your Fire TV for a certain show, and she’ll tune in to the correct live TV channel.

So when it’s time for your show to start, say “Alexa, play the Yankees game,” or “Alexa, play the Walking Dead” and she’ll switch the channel to the correct option. 

I’m excited to try this with the Olympics coming up! I’m hoping she’ll be able to steer me toward which NBC channel is showing volleyball or bicycling.
