Just follow the simple steps below
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the faces of people (and pets!) I love. And my Echo Show makes it easy to see them all the time 🙂
You can now easily pick photos from your phone’s camera roll to display in a rotating slideshow on your Echo Show (even if you don’t use Amazon Photos!).
- Go to the Alexa app and tap “Devices”
- Tap on “Echo & Alexa” at the top, then tap your Echo Show
- Tap “Home Screen Background”
- Tap “Uploaded Photos” and then select a bunch of photos from your phone’s camera roll to upload (note you’ll have to give Alexa app permission to access your photos)
- You’ll be prompted to pick 10 of the photos you uploaded to display in the slideshow (you can have a max of 10 photos in the slideshow)
- If you want to change the photos in the slideshow, tap the “+” button. To add in a photo you already uploaded in step #4, tap “Keep Current Selection” and then pick a photo, otherwise tap “Select More Photos”
Pro Tip: To add and manage more photos and use features like This Day in years past, you’ll need the Amazon Photos app, which you can log into with your Amazon account. (You’ll get free photo storage with a Prime account!)
