See how far your money will go with Alexa!

I know I’m not the only one dreaming of the day I can hop on a flight to sunny Mexico or the Greek Islands 🙂

Alexa can help you figure out what international destinations to go to if you want to make your dollars (or any other currency!) go the farthest.

Try out these handy currency conversioncommands with any of the vacation spots you have in mind…

• “Alexa, what’s the exchange rate in Euros?” and she’ll give you the value of 1 Euro in US dollars — it’s currently $1.20! (Insert any other currency to compare)
• If you’d like it converted the other way, say, “Alexa what is the value of $1 in Euros?” — it’s currently 83 Euro cents!
• If you want to figure out the US dollar cost of hotel room quoted in in another currency, just say, “Alexa, how much is 200 Euros in dollars?” (insert the relevant cost and currency!)

Pro Tip #1

Currency rates are constantly fluctuating, so take Alexa’s conversion as a general guide for that moment. With most purchases, the price you’ll actually pay depends on the rate at the moment of purchase. 

Pro Tip #2

The more you use her, the more she’ll know your home currency, and you don’t have to specify it.
