Alexa can help you find the doughnuts
You know when a food craving pops into your head, and you suddenly know what you want to eat next? Alexa makes it easy to satisfy that itch.
- Just say, “Alexa, where are the closest donuts?” or, “Alexa, where is the closest Thai food?” She’ll give you the closest options to your house, complete with business name and distance from your house.
- If you find one you like, you can follow up and ask for the hours,using the business name. And you can even ask for directions; she’ll give you the fastest route and estimated time to get there.
Pro Tip: The information is only as good as the algorithm and keywords used by the business. So when I asked for the nearest cupcakes, I was directed to Cold Stone Creamery and a cupcake store one town over, even though I happen to know they have delicious cupcakes at my local grocery store bakery.
