Just ask, “Alexa, what should I eat?”
It’s a question I ask myself multiples time a day. So it’s a nice switch to ask Alexa for a change!
Just say, “Alexa, what should I eat?” She’ll give you ideas in four categories: restaurants, recipes, prepared foods, and Blue Apron meal kits.
My favorite section is recipes! Choose this and she’ll show you tasty recipes based on things you like (I got spicy shrimp tacos, go figure!). You can hone in further with tags like Easy, Under 5 Ingredients, or even recipes that incorporate a specific ingredient such as chicken or shallots.
With restaurants, she’ll select a restaurant nearby, and tell you the address, how far it is, and show how many stars it has on Yelp.
With prepared foods, she shows what’s available at your nearest Whole Foods or Amazon Fresh, for pick up or delivery.
With Blue Apron meal kits, she’ll show what’s on the menu for the week, as well as specialty bundles such as their carb-counting meal kit. Then just add to the cart if it appeals.
The best part: The more you use it, the more Alexa learns about your taste preferences, so her suggestions become even more targeted.
