Alexa can help you find an eat-out (or takeout) option

No, alas, Alexa can’t cook you a meal herself. (No arms to handle the pots.) 

But she can suggest a restaurant!

Just say, “Alexa, suggest a nearby restaurant” and she’ll offer you options, giving you the address and telling you how far away they are. 

I expected that she would list them by proximity, but she surprised me by giving me a few within 1 to 3 miles, including one spot I’d forgotten about.

Have a craving for Italian? You can dial it in by asking, “Alexa, suggest a nearby Italian restaurant.” 

And if you don’t feel like going out? Say, “Alexa, suggest a Chinese restaurant that delivers.” She’ll give you some options and the phone number so you can call them directly.
