Get inspired by some serious savings

Who doesn’t like a good deal, especially this time of year? Alexa can help find them, without you lifting a finger. 

Just say, “Alexa, what are my deals?”

She’ll give a rundown of the top Amazon deals, listing the product, the price, and how much your savings. If you like it, you can say Buy It or Add to my cart. If you don’t, no problem! 

This works best on an Echo, where she’ll put 10 deals up on the screen that you can scroll through by number. If you want more info, tap the More Details button. Or tap Add to Cart or Buy It if it appeals.  

They can be random—when I did it, the items ranged from Coppertone sunscreen for 33% off and to a 55-inch Samsung flat-screen TV for 28% off. It’s a little wonky when you ask for deals by category—I got some for Pet Supplies, but nothing when I asked about Books or Home. I hope they tweak it so you can dial in by category, such as What are my kitchen deals. But if you’re looking for gift ideas, it’s a great place for inspiration along with serious savings!
