You can tweak your speaker settings for the perfect sound
Playing music is of course one of Alexa’s top features.
But what you might not know is that you can customize the sound settings just like you would on a stereo!
Just say, “Alexa, turn up the bass.” You can also adjust the Midrange and Treble settings.
Like all things Alexa, settings work on a 1-10 level range, and her preset is in the middle. You can specify how much to go up for town by saying “Alexa, turn bass up to 7.”
If you’d rather do it in the Alexa app so you can see what level you’re currently at, here’s how:
- Open the Alexa app and tap Devices.
- Select the device you want and tap the Settings dial in the upper right.
- Tap Audio Settings and you can use the sliders to adjust Bass, Midrange and Treble settings.
Pro Tip: Don’t like your adjustments? Say, “Alexa, reset the equalizer” to get back to the standard setting.
