Alexa can now proactively tell you when things are happening

For instance, Alexa can notify you when…

• Your favorite TV show is going to be on
• You receive an email from a certain contact
• Your sports team is playing again
• A holiday is coming up (I asked Alexa to remind me when it’s Chinese New Year!)

How to set set up a “tell me when” notification: Just say, “Alexa, tell me when…” and then the thing you want her to tell you. You could say:

• “Alexa, tell me when This Is Us is on” or
• “Alexa, tell me when the Dodgers are playing again” (Spring training can’t be too far away!)

Alexa will respond with the answer and then ask if you’d like to be reminded when it actually happens. Just say “yes!”

This is a really nice new feature, and I’m enjoying using it!
