You are going to thank me when you try Jimmy Fallon’s Alexa game 🙂

I’m a huge fan of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and I especially love the games he plays with his guests. One of my favorites involves Alexa, and it’s as easy and fun to play at home as it is to watch it.

Loosely based on the old game show Password, in Jimmy Fallon’s “Hey Robot” game, one person picks a word and lets the other players know what it is.

Then each player asks Alexa questions to get her to say the word—but you can’t use the word itself in your questions. You go back and forth until Alexa says it, and then the person who asked a question that got Alexa to say the word wins a point!

Say the secret word is “pepperoni.” One way to go might be to say, “Alexa, what is the most popular pizza topping?”

Where it gets fun is by picking challenging words, like grasshopper or magenta. Then it can be challenging to find a question that works 🙂

It’s great fun to do as a group, and since it’s Alexa, you can play it at the dining room table, on the porch, or like Jimmy does, on the couch.
