Assistant can find you the fastest route to your vacation

There’s still time to head out on an adventure this summer. And no matter where your road trip takes you, Assistant can make sure that you find the fastest route there. 

Just say, “Hey Google, how far is it from here to Cape May, New Jersey”and Assistant can tell you both the distance and the fastest route. 

Tap for Google Maps, and you can see alternate routes—in case you want to avoid tolls, avoid highways, or just take a more scenic route there. 

Pro Tip: Make sure that you have your home address stored in Google Assistant, so you can ask her how far it is from a location to home. In the app, tap the button on the top right of the screen, and scroll down to “Your Places” to add the places you’ll often need to get directions to and from.
