Hi,
I have used Alexa many times to find my phone in my house. But, my settings are to block calls not in my contacts. If it’s important they’ll leave a message and I can call them back.
Anyway, the obvious issue is that I don’t have a number to put in my contacts for Alexa. So if I ask her to call (find) my phone – there is no ring.
How do I get a number for her to put in my contacts? Or do I have to turn the setting off and back on?

This is a great question!
You didn’t say how you’ve been using Alexa to find your phone – are you using the command ““Alexa, Find My Phone.”?
If so, Matchbox.io (makers of “Find My Phone”) have listed the phone numbers they use to make calls from. Just add these numbers to your phone as a contact called “Find My Phone”:
– 1.866.217.2815
– 1.866.217.8536
– 1.866.217.8642
– 1.866.217.9170
