Plus, drop-in is an especially handy way to reach your family at home when no one is picking up the phone!

If you drop in on an Echo Show, it’ll automatically be a video drop in.

Here’s how to drop in from your phone:

1. Open the Alexa app
2. Tap “Communicate” > “Drop In”
3. Choose the device you want to chat with
4. To end the call, you just have to hit the red “hang up” button
