I don’t have an outlet facing in a direction that would work for an Echo Flex + motion detector.
Are there any other motion detectors that work with Alexa (Echo Dot) and don’t require an Echo Flex?

Hi Philip,
That’s a good point. If you don’t have an outlet nearby (or a Echo Flex), the Samsung SmartThings Motion Sensor might be a good fit – it’s powered by a battery so it can go anywhere.
The only downside is that it requires an additional component – the Samsung SmartThings Hub.
