Trivia fans can fight for the win with Trivia Battle
Say “Alexa, open Trivia Battle” to play!
I miss trivia game nights with friends, so I was pretty excited to discover the Trivia Battle game on Alexa.
It lets me test my wits against people from around the country in a battle for state bragging rights. Today, I took on Olivia from Maryland (and won!).
In Trivia Battle, you get 8 questions, with a mix of multiple choice and true/false. The questions get increasingly difficult and earn you more points when you get them right.
Every time you answer, Alexa tells you how you did, gives you a few more fun facts on the topic, and then lets you know how your opponent scored and gives you the current running point totals.
And when the final question is answered and the winner declared (sorry, Olivia!), you’ll find out where your state is in the rankings. (New York is in a respectable 4th place.)
Just say “Alexa, open Trivia Battle” to start up a game!
3 pro tips to enhance your battle
- On an Echo Show, the game displays a cool graphic that shows how many questions you and your competitor each answered correctly — and at the end of the game, it shows the entire state leaderboard. (California’s currently in the lead!)
- While you can only play once per day, keep coming back every day to climb the individual leaderboard and help your state rise in the rankings
- If you join the Trivia Club for $2.40 a month, you’ll be able to get five bonus questions each day worth double points.
