The Voicebrew article in the 2020-09-08 issue describes nicely how to show photos from a camera roll or stored in Amazon photos, but a few of us have photos take long before the inventors of smart phones and Amazon were born. How can a slide show composed of JPEG, PNG or TIFF images be displayed?

Also, can a narration or subtitles be added to an Amazon Show slide show?

Hi, thanks so much for your questions!
With respect to the photos in different formats, I would recommend using Amazon Photos! There is an upload tool that should take all those file formats without issue. You can download Amazon Photos here. Once you install it, you can point the software to the folders on your computer where all your photos are stored.

Unfortunately, narration and subtitles cannot be added to an Amazon Slideshow yet, but hopefully that comes in the future! That would definitely be a great feature!

Another approach would be to email yourself the photo, open the email and photo on your phone and then save it to your phone’s camera roll. Then you could go through the simple steps in the recent voicebrew email you are referring to!
