Unfortunately at this time, Alexa cannot call 911. If you ask Alexa to call 911, the response will be: “Sorry, I can’t help. Please call emergency services directly using a phone.”

Alternatively, there are other skills that can allow you to reach out to designated individuals in case of an emergency – but not emergency services. Skills such as Ask My Buddy or My SOS Family may provide you a means to reach a designated family member or friend, but would not be a replacement for calling 911 directly.

Hopefully this is something Amazon adds in the future!
