When you say “install in your car”, are you using an Amazon Echo Auto device, or connecting Alexa through some other method?

I was trying to use the Amazon echo auto device but it wouldn’t physically mount on the dashboard as shown in the video.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for clarifying! There are some types of dashboards that the Echo Auto mount was designed to fit into the vents of. Please reference this Amazon.com graphic to see if your dashboard has one of the supported types of vents.
Alternatively, there are a number of third party Echo Auto dashboard mount connectors on Amazon.com – one of which may work for you. I can’t recommend a specific one, unfortunately, but you may be able to read some of the reviews to find the one that will fit your car the best!
