Be a better pet parent with help from Alexa!
4 questions every pet parent can ask Alexa
Whether you’re one of the many people who have adopted new pets recently or you’ve had your dog for a while, there’s always that burning question or concern you have.
#1. Is this food safe for my pet?
Alexa can tell you exactly why avocado toast is a bad idea for your dog (it can cause vomiting!) — or why it’s a very bad idea to feed your cat chocolate.
Just say “Alexa, ask Doctor Pooch can dogs/cats can eat ___?”
#2. Can you teach me something new about my pet?
The Hills Pet Nutrition skill gives you a fun fact each day about dogs, cats, or both. Today I learned that you can train cats!
You’ll need to tap/click and enable, then say “Alexa, open Hills.”
#3. When did someone last feed the dog?
If you have multiple family members caring for your pet (or you’re just a little absent minded), the Dog Data skill can help your household keep track of walks, food, going out, and medications.
To start the skill, say “Alexa, open Dog Data.”
#4. How do I train my dog?
Whether you need basic help with a nipping dog or potty training, Al the Dog Trainer has you covered.
Just say “Alexa, open Al the Dog Trainer.” (When prompted to say your question, be sure you say “Al” and then your question.)
