Enjoy a fireworks display compliments of Alexa!
The 4th of July fireworks in my town were cancelled, but that doesn’t mean I won’t get to ooh and ahh over a colorful light show.
Simply say “Alexa, start fireworks display!”
After a funny little sound snippet of someone trying to light a lighter, you get a full hour of awesome fireworks displayed on your Echo Show — with every pop and crackle included (though fortunately for those with pets, at a much lower volume than a live fireworks display).
It’s the summertime equivalent of the crackling fireplace video
You know the one that gets tee’d up at every winter holiday party! I’ll admit that watching fireworks on your Echo Show is not as exciting as seeing them live — but it’s still a great way to make your 4th just a little bit more festive 🙂
Pro Tip
Say “Alexa, set volume to zero” if you want to see the fireworks visuals but not hear the sounds.
Another way Alexa can help you celebrate the 4th?
Test your knowledge about the “ten-dollar Founding Father” with the HamilQuiz skill, which asks you five questions about Hamilton’s life.
Say “Alexa, open Hamilton quiz” to start, and see how you do! It’s especially fun for all the Hamilton fans out there 🙂
Hamilton Fan Pro Tip
Hamilton the musical will start streaming tomorrow on Disney+, and I know I’ll be watching!
